Is November over already?!  Here are a few of our highlights:

Geoff took the girls to Malibu to see a BYU women's soccer game.  I stayed home to catch up on life.

Good times in California

Geoff and I went to Park City for the weekend.  

Ceci had another Cotillion.

Our birds, Van Gogh and Matisse, are constantly laying eggs, some of which hatch and then die. Recently one was brand new and pushed out of the nest.  We saw it wriggling on the floor of the cage, and after we carefully placed it back in the nest we found it dead the next morning.  A few days later, another baby born around the same time was found floundering around on the floor of the cage trying to fly.  We figured it was the natural process so we left it overnight.  The next morning as we were checking on it we found it in the water dish gasping for its last breath.  Goodness!  Ceci carefully buried it in the only plot of dirt we have...a corner flower box.

Thankfully a third survived and is flying around the cage.

Geoff spent a week in Brazil for work.

Geoff's Utah siblings, and his dad, gathered in Utah for Thanksgiving.  His sister, Ingrid, and her family came the day after Thanksgiving too.

We "ran" a Turkey Trot.

We had a pot-luck Turkey Day feast that was delicious and lasted for days!  We visited Geoff's mom's grave and brought in the holiday season singing Christmas hymns, and we walked around Temple Square to see the lights.

Adele decided she wanted to buy a new ipod during Black Friday and figured out how to get $150 in a day.  She is one resourceful kid!

We took the eligible cousins to the temple and later all of the adults went to the temple.  It was a full and wonderful weekend.  Thanks for hosting, Em!

We packed up our Fall gourds and pumpkins in preparation for our decking of halls this week.  We'll especially miss this little gourd face...

October

Life has been full to the brim lately.  Here is a recap of October...

I love our view of the temple!

 Geoff's sister Ingrid and her family came for a long weekend.  We went to Wheeler Farms.

Geoff and I took the 12-and-older crowd to the Salt Lake Temple to do baptisms, and then we went out to Hires.

We spent an afternoon in Sundance to admire the Fall foliage.

We celebrated Tate and Zoey's 2nd birthday.  It was a farm theme.

One long weekend we drove to Auburn to move Geoff's dad out of the dear Auburn home. All of Geoff's siblings were there to help.  It was hard to say goodbye to the location of so many great memories.

Geoff is doing an intensive IV therapy to revisit his health issues and got a port put in to make that process go more smoothly.

Ceci went to her first Cotillion (Tennie is now too old and Adele is on an off-year).  She loved dressing up.

We went to Witchfest at Gardner Village.

Just in the nick of time we got some pumpkins to carve.

Adele wanted to have a Halloween party.  She planned the entire thing; I only took her shopping for things she needed.  They had chili, salad and cornbread, a donut on a string contest, a Halloween trivia game and painted their nails.

On Halloween we found a suitable costume accessory for Geoff to wear to work.

 Adele was an Egyptian and Ceci a robber.

And Tennie was a gypsy/fortune teller.

We went to Geoff's sister Emily's for Halloween night.

Yesterday Adele and Ceci finished up their Fall soccer season.

Last night we had a Night of the Dead Indexing Marathon for the youth in our stake.  We started off with a Mexican dinner and then the youth jumped on a laptop to index.  Every hour we stopped for 10 minutes for games and snacks.  It was a 4-hour activity.  Super fun.
