While I was in Utah Adele and Ceci came downstairs one night looking like this...
Last Thursday we went to Stinson Beach. It was pretty chilly but that didn't deter Geoff and his little fish buddy Ceci from getting in! Ceci has her own little wetsuit (awesome end-of-season rental wetsuit clearance deal) and loves the waves.
A month ago we had Geoff's family here for over a week (that is 26 people in one house!) This annual event has become known as Blackberry Days due to the abundance of these delicious berries that grow on this property. I'm too behind to tell much about Blackberry Days this year, but you'll get a sense of the good times through pictures.
Ceci with "Sexy" (yes, that is what she named her chicken - the breed is a "Golden Sexlink") and Bailey with "Starry Night"
Waiting for an after-dinner performance Ceci smiles amidst a moment of cousin trouble
(we had an awful lot of this trouble this year)
Adele and Taeya provide the entertainment
A little family dancing after the show
Davey's birthday cake
Heather always opening up shop (and this year she even put tinsel in the girl's hair)
Taeya fell down the stairs and broke her collar bone the week before Blackberry Days.
Adele wore a sling almost all week showing a little solidarity.
Emily and Ingrid and Trent's irresistible Lucy
Christian and Heather's niece Nataya joined us this year (she didn't bargain for the Davis cousin troubles!)
Proof that these pictures are out of order... This is at the campfire and they are enjoying a picture of younger cousin, Mitchell, trying to lick a huge piece of marshmallow off of the side of his mouth.
Ceci and Lucy
A good effort at a cousin photo. I love Anders in the foreground going for another tic-tac... You can see how much these kids love these photo shoots.
The best of the bunch (and MANY tic-tacs later)
Adele and Lucy (she was in high demand!)
Nikki's turn
Taeya and Adele cheering on the swimmers during the annual Blackberry Days Triathlon
Here they are on the property run
Popsicles can't wait until the end...
I can't get any more photos to load so stay tuned for a Blackberry Days Part II.
