We've been watching our little ant farm for several weeks now. The book The Life and Times of the Ant by Charles Micucci has been a great resource to help us know what they're up to. It isn't the only pet they're keeping in their room...yesterday they found a lizard on the loose; now hiding under Ceci's bed!
