We were in New York three days, and unfortunately Geoff was sick those days. He ventured out with us a few times, but for the most part he stayed home in bed while the girls and I explored the city. I felt very brave.
Every morning for three hours the girls were in a private fashion class with Keri at The Fashion Class. They had so much fun, and looked forward to it every morning. They learned to sketch the figures and clothing, design a dress, choose the fabric at Mood, measure and cut the fabric and sew their dresses, a bag and make accessories. They fit a lot in and were so proud of their creations. Keri worked miracles in such a short period of time.
In the afternoons we walked around, mostly. I'll start with Day One.
| Grand Central was the station nearest the fashion class. We took an express line from the stop right by our apartment. |
