I didn't get any pictures of our mild rafting trip down a river. After being delayed for nearly three hours we were determined to have that darn ride despite the threatening black clouds coming our way. It was fun, and sometimes rowdy, and in the end the winds came so fiercely Trent had to jump out and pull us to the side before our destination. It was a true rescue mission getting all of the rafts out safely. Fun, though.
We went to West Yellowstone one day. I love the lazy prairies of that place.
Since we explored the park a couple years ago we weren't as anxious to see all the sites. While the adults went on a hike to see some geysers we took the older kids to see some buffalo and to get out and run around. The loved it, and before Geoff and I knew it they were all in the water, clothes and all. The came away singing "Home on the Range" all on their own.

We ate dinner (after our ice cream) at this little Mexican restaurant. Super fun. Not so tasty.
One the last morning Liz, Davey and Geoff's dad created a really fun and creative treasure hunt for the kids.
They loved it.
We packed up our things and drove through Montana. I love that place. It is so open and undisturbed. We talked about our bucket list adventure of following the Lewis & Clark trail in a few years when the girls are older. Wanna go?
We stayed the night in Spokane on our way to Seattle. Our second 15 hour trip in a week!
