Williamsburg, VA

The girls were pretty much done the last two days of our trip, and too bad because Williamsburg is bursting with history and charm.  I love early Colonial architecture, and I love how the people of the time used natural elements to create beauty.  There were beautiful wreaths on every house, and little pumpkins or apples on fence posts and ledges.  The gardeners were so resourceful and productive.  I love stepping back in time.

I'm not sure what is happening in this picture, but this guy helped the girls learn how to yoke the oxen

The town jail (Blackbeard and his men were held here before execution)
