A Starring Role

As soon as Tennie could dress herself she dressed herself in dress-ups.  When she went to preschool the first thing she did when she got home was change into a princess gown.  We've always had a large costume collection, and Tennie has always been putting on plays and marching around in some kind of imaginary character.  

So it shouldn't surprise me that she loves theater.  She has seven plays under her belt, but still hasn't had the lead role, and oh, how she has wanted it.  Well, her time has come.

This past week she auditioned for Anne in the musical Anne of Green Gables and, after a 3-hour call back, SHE GOT THE PART!  It is double-casted so she'll perform in four performances.  There is a lot of hootin' and hollarin' going on around here...
