Muir Woods and Stinson Beach

I'm behind. Two weeks ago our Bay Area friends said their kids were out of school on a Wednesday so we packed up the van and took the day off. We visited Stanford which is a beautiful campus.

On a search for a bathroom we entered a building and Tennie found the English Department with her desired area of focus. She was/is so excited!

We met up with our friends from our Cambridge days, the Christensens (minus Cindy who was sick), Archibalds (minus Jared who had deadlines), and the Carters, in Muir Woods. We LOVE these people! It was so fun to see our kids play together and enjoy each other as much as WE enjoy each other!

After a hike through the near-sacred redwoods we drove over to Stinson Beach where the kids played in the sand and water. In a surprising way we felt like we were at home when we came in view of the ocean.
