Some people at church invited Adele over to ride their horse. She and Geoff started their day doing what Adele loves most, interacting with and riding a horse. She has a special connection with horses. They really respond to her. She hasn't been on a horse for six months but it was as natural for her as anything.
They spent a good hour in a toy store, then went to lunch at Mimi's Cafe. Upon walking in and seeing it full of seniors Adele said, "I didn't know this many old people existed."
Who wouldn't have a great day with this guy?!
While eating lunch they made a scavenger hunt list of things to look for around town: red hair, musical instrument, a dog, a fork, a pink flower, gold shoes, light bulb, etc. Then the search was on!

They finished off the day with gelato.
Adele came home and reported, "This was the best day of my whole life."
Ceci chose to start her Day playing tennis. The weather had turned COLD so it was brief! She liked the idea of spending an undefined amount of time in a toy store so they went to two, went to lunch at Cheese Cake Factory, stopped for gelato, wandered through the mall going in and out of stores at Ceci's pleasure, and then ended the day with the movie Happy Feet Two.
Ceci came home on cloud nine.
