Temple Square and Sundance

We enjoyed the rest of our friend's visit last weekend.  Sunday we walked around Temple Square and then had lots of hours to catch up while the girls played.  Monday we went to Sundance and enjoyed the amazing beauty of that place.

The Cristus in the Temple Square visitors center
We played a game of "Where I'll serve a mission" - when we said 'go' they pointed to the globe.  Lots of excitement around missions to Madagascar, Brazil and Australia!
We met these two missionaries from Tonga and Cameroon
We toured the conference center and Ceci was fascinated by the rainbow light created from the skylights
City Creek that runs through the city
Peony bushes!
Tennie and Sela put on a concert off of the balcony
Some of our very kind neighbors were recruited by the three to the right and listened for a good 20 minutes.  It looks as though they had them stand for the American anthem here.
A trip to Sundance isn't complete without one of the Sundance suckers in your mouth
The girls played around in the water and watched a scene from a movie being made on the other side.
We hiked up to the theater where the girls put on a play they described as a cross between Tangled and Parent Trap

At the end of the day we ate dinner right off of BYU's campus at Brick Oven and played in the beautiful gardens at the edge of campus.  Lots of memories of this place!

We fit in an afternoon at The Leonardo museum, and a breakfast at a little French cafe before they left.  Already Adele has a letter off to Nina, and videos go back and forth between the two.  We're already looking forward to the next time we get together - next summer!
