Managua, Nicaragua

After an uneventful arrival (thankfully!) we spent the first two days at a very comfortable hotel in Managua.  It isn't exactly a Nicaraguan experience quite yet, but a nice transition from a very busy April into an adventure in May and June!

Swimming all day for two days...kid heaven

Geoff found a little time in between meetings to jump in the pool with us

We squeezed in a little local botany to learn about the Bromeliad plant that grows
throughout the rainforests of Central America (and all around our hotel pool)

Last night one of Geoff's local YGL (Young Global Leader) friends named Ricardo met us for dinner.  He's my local go-to when I'm on my own next week.
