Traveling Troopers
After all the travelling around we've done these past months our girls deserve a little recognition for being such great travellers! We've spent hours and hours in a very small car (Geoff and I deserve some recognition here, too) with bags at their feet and little elbow room. They've adapted to hotel after hotel, eaten out every meal, often eating the same things because they're allergic to everything else on the menu, walked what must have seemed like a marathon for their little legs without complaining day after day, visited dozens of churches that must all look the same in their eyes, and generally just go with the flow. Often we'll be in the car for a couple hours and one will ask, "Where are we going?" If we suggest an extension on the trip they are all for it. These are some amazing kids!
These girls love hotels. Immediately upon entering they unplug the phones; grab the pads of papers, pens, cups, and whatever else comes with the room, and set up a "game". Here they are playing hotel. Tennie is taking a reservation...blabbering in made-up French or Italian. Adele is checking availability.

Anders was watching me read your blog and says
"we need to hurry and go there." It would be so nice!
